I’ve found that lot of the definitions  found online and in textbooks for IxD are confusing or simply just too wordy for advanced level students (specifically, my current CAPE animation and game design students)

I’ve formed a simple one:

Interactive design is the discipline of designing user interfaces based on the logical direct and perceived behavior of the intended user in addition to the basic controls and/or data entry fields that are required on the interface.

What are your thoughts?
